Hair and makeup plan for studio shoot

Editorial shoot is over so now its time to focus on the studio shoot for the band poster. For hair and makeup we are thinking of doing the same thing for the boys but maybe a bit more natural hair as some of us weren't as happy with how the boy's hair turned out for the previous shoot. For Sophie's hair we are thinking some kind of fishtail braid. We all love how this looks and you can make it neat or messy; we want it messy as it will look more like a hairstyle of someone in a band.


Here was our initial inspiration for fishtail braids. These have all been done with hair half up half down which looks amazing and could be the way to go because then we can put a beanie on her and we will still see some hair

This is a more refined braid so if we did this style we would pull at the braid more so it looks messy and textured. But we all decided that it doesn't make sense to do this style because we wont be seeing the back of her head so we wont be able to see the braid. Especially because we are planning to use the beanie again so it will be covered up.

This is our solution as we still really want to use a braid. Having a braid on the side will work great because we can put a beanie on fine and still see the braid. This is also a more laid back style that we can make look effortless and a bit messy

For makeup this time we are going with darker eyes and a natural lip as this is more dramatic and will look good in a street poster because her eyes will be so stark and stunning
